Chartbook Maker is a Windows program for creating chartbooks from electronic charts.
Chartbook Maker let you print nautical charts in full resolution using a regular printer.
A section of each chart is printed to a separate page with references to adjoining sections.
At the start of the booklet an index of the full chart is printed along with the page numbers of the tiles. It reads all NOAA BSB format charts.
Chartbook Maker currently offers 4 different chart packs covering areas surrounding Vancover Island:
- West Coast - Covers Vancover Island from the Broken Group north to Esperanza Inlet
- Gulf Islands - Covers Vancover Island from Sooke Inlet to Nanaimo
- Inside Passage - Covers Vancover Island from Desolation Sound to north to Broughton Strait
- Queen Charlottes - Covers from Atli Inlet to Cape St. James
