Long Descriptions of OM-FORECASTING
Operations Manager Forecasting Templates include: Simple exponential smoothing, Smoothing linear, exponential, and damped trends, and two additional models for managing seasonal adjustments.
OM-Forecasting include 4 models:
- OM-SIMPLE: Simple exponential smoothing. The simplest form of exponential smoothing is called, appropriately enough, simple smoothing.
- OM-TRENDSMOOTH: Smoothing linear, exponential, and damped trends. Is a robust model, relatively insensitive to smoothing parameters provided that they are approximately correct.
- OM-MULTIMON: Ratio-to-moving-average seasonal adjustment.
- OM-ADDITMON: Difference-to-moving-average seas. adj. for mo data.
